
New on-call recruits welcomed into the Service at pass-out parade
Following a successful recruitment campaign and subsequent training programme, the 11 new firefighters are joining crews based at either the Western or Town stations.

This evening, the States of Jersey Fire & Rescue Service evacuated around 50 homes from Le Clos Mourant on Le Squez Road in St Clement following a gas leak.
Island Energy is on scene and Islanders are asked to avoid the area.
Residents are being cared for at the Good Companions Club or with family and friends.
The evacuation is a preliminary action and is standard practice for the affected building. There is no need to evacuate any further at this time.
SJFRS will remain on scene.
