
New on-call recruits welcomed into the Service at pass-out parade
Following a successful recruitment campaign and subsequent training programme, the 11 new firefighters are joining crews based at either the Western or Town stations.

Emergency services were called to an incident that caused significant damage to a property at Le Mont Pinel, St Saviour just before 11pm on Wednesday, 26th June.
This was declared a Major Incident, and that status remains. States of Jersey Police are at the scene to secure the site.
Two adults and two children were transported to the General Hospital for medical attention. They are stable with no life-threatening injuries.
Four households were evacuated as a precaution with Government of Jersey providing ongoing support.
The incident is being investigated and the cause remains unknown.
The area around Le Mont Pinel is closed but traffic around the area is not affected and Mont Millais is open.
