
New on-call recruits welcomed into the Service at pass-out parade

The cordon, which has surrounded the site of the suspected explosion on Mont Pinel (on Wed 26 June), has been reduced. It now sits at the end of the affected terrace.
Residents from Douro Court, who had been displaced, are now able to return to their properties.
The four properties still inside the cordon remain under States of Jersey Fire & Rescue Service management, due to stabilisation works.
Those families affected continue to be supported by Government.
