Rouge Bouillon remains closed between Clarendon Road and Palmyra Road for public safety.
Private parties responsible for the affected buildings are undertaking detailed investigations and repair work, which is expected to take some time. Current estimates suggest the closure may extend towards Easter.
As public safety is paramount, the road will only reopen once the buildings are stabilised and all risk of structural collapse is mitigated. A number of parties are involved including Jersey Water, structural engineers, building surveyors, loss adjustors, and insurance companies.
Infrastructure and Environment are now leading on this work. The department appreciates your patience and will continue to provide updates while they monitor the situation.
