How to make a 999 call

In the event of an emergency call 999
We are aware of a dog, which was recently rescued by members of the public, from halfway down the cliff at Grosnez.
It is wonderful news that the concerned group were able to locate Lily, and she is now out of harm's way, however, we watched the video with hearts in our mouths.
We are rigorously trained and equipped to conduct rescues in this environment and are fully aware of the very real risks it poses.
The person in the footage took a significant risk in getting down to her, with no safety equipment whatsoever.
We don't want to put a damper on this occasion, but we also don't want someone else to take it upon themselves to conduct a similar rescue in future and get hurt or killed.
This event could very easily have become a human rescue too.
In similar circumstances, please call 999 and ask for the Fire Service. Our highly trained Rope Rescue Team will be there to help.
