How to make a 999 call
To mark International Control Room Week, we are raising awareness of what information you need to make a 999 call and what the control room operator will ask.
In the event of an emergency call 999
Last night, we joined Infrastructure and Environment teams in the Tunnel, to carry out a smoke test.
This test allowed us to see, in person, what a fire in the tunnel would look like. The exercise reinforced our risk information and helps ensure that we are well prepared, should an incident occur.
If there is an incident in the tunnel and you are advised to evacuate, please follow these steps:
