We are proud to welcome JJ Lloyd, Colin Brady, Bethany Moisan, and Stephen Reed to the States of Jersey Fire and Rescue Service as our new on-call firefighters.
In the event of an emergency call 999
Shortly before 7pm last night (Tuesday 21 January 2025), firefighters were called to a single-vehicle RTC in Le Mont Matthieu in St Ouen.
Three people were inside the vehicle, which was in a precarious position. It had mounted the bank on the edge of the road and the occupants, though unharmed, were concerned if they exited the vehicle, that it would roll onto the road.
Firefighters made the scene safe by anchoring the car to the ground and the the driver and two passengers were able to exit the vehicle safely.
We are proud to welcome JJ Lloyd, Colin Brady, Bethany Moisan, and Stephen Reed to the States of Jersey Fire and Rescue Service as our new on-call firefighters.
To mark International Control Room Week, we are raising awareness of what information you need to make a 999 call and what the control room operator will ask.
